The Streicker Ironstone Block Chenin Blanc is a single-vineyard wine made from hand-harvested fruit from our Ironstone Vineyard in the heart of Wilyabrup. It is crafted into an elegant and nuanced wine. Aromas of peaches, lemon curd and almonds meet a bristling entry to the palate of viscous fruit textures and acidity, followed by flavours of ripe stone fruits, lime zest and brioche. Voluptuous lines of green fruits, blossoms and granite deliver a seamless finish with a fine and lasting texture of oyster shell and sea-spray.
The fruit for our Bridgeland Block Fumé Blanc is selected from the best block of Sauvignon Blanc from our Bridgeland vineyard in southern Margaret River. White stone fruit and creamy French oak flavours introduce a pure palate of coating natural acidity and fine fruit textures. It finishes with freshly zested lime, granite and honeycomb.
The rich aromas of this dessert wine show hints of brioche and ginger-nut on top of bolder scents of sultana and honey-toast. The palate enters with a concentrated sweetness developing into a broad, toasty finish dappled with hints of shaved almond and toasted spices. The syrupy texture is elegantly balanced out with a succulent acidity and spring-blossom finish.
A balanced entry of crisp natural acidity and generous red fruit flavours. Tones of creamy French oak, red apple skin and cherry blossoms lend brightness to a finely textured palate of crushed granite and Turkish delight. A moreish finish of savoury white pepper and dried herbs is balanced by yet more red fruit flavours and hints of freshly whipped cream.
The shiraz fruit was hand-picked in the early hours of the morning and processed with 50% as whole-cluster on the bottom of the fermenters, and the other 50% destemmed as whole berries on top. This gives the wine a crunchy cherry skin tannin laced with stalky spice and dark chocolate alongside a pure palate of bright red fruits.
