A harmonious blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon made from the fruit planted in 1976 at the Clairault Vineyard in Wilyabrup.
Mulberries, cassis and subtle hints of forest undergrowth greet on the nose with background notes of cedar, lacquer and oyster-shell. A seamless entry to the palate boasting fine grain tannin that is both coating and mineral. Flavours of blueberries, liquorice and glazed cherries abound on the mid-palate with a persistent and powerful dark fruit finish driving this elegant wine deep into one’s memory.
A complex and opulent wine with bold aromas of peaches, creamy French oak, cinnamon apple and nutmeg, hints of braised nuts and jasmine. The palate displays a coasting nectarine acidity and stone fruit flavours on the entry. It gently descends into spicy oak tones layered atop a granatic structure and finishes with dried pear and brioche as an afterthought.
Made in the traditional method with 30 months on lees, this wine exhibits scents of white pear, brioche and freshly zested limes, underscored by tones of green apple skin and jasmine flower. A pure, vibrant palate entry of tight natural acidity and fine engaging tannin are brought into balance and lent a pristine density by a fine, custard-lined mousse and creamy underlay. White flowers, pear flesh and mother of pearl persist throughout the length and finish.
Made from fruit off our coolest vineyard, this wine is an elegant style of Shiraz. In colour it is deep purple with rich red streaks. White pepper, liquorice and plum jam on the nose with hints of cinnamon cracked allspice. The entry on the palate is bright with a slatey texture and blackberry core. The tannins are coating and dark with spiced red fruits and cloves for a lingering finish.
Made from fruit off our coolest vineyard, this wine is an elegant style of Pinot Noir. In colour it is light red with blue and purple specks. Bright flavours of red cherries, sour plums and cinnamon on the entry, guided by fleshy textures of crushed apple flesh and satsuma plums. A vital line of chalky acidity and white pepper drive the palate to a crystalline finish of red fruits and spicy oak.
The fruit for our Bridgeland Block Fumé Blanc is selected from the best block of Sauvignon Blanc from our Bridgeland vineyard in southern Margaret River. White stone fruit and creamy French oak flavours introduce a pure palate of coating natural acidity and fine fruit textures. It finishes with freshly zested lime, granite and honeycomb.
A medium weight and textural Chenin Blanc, grown on the Ironstone vineyard. The aromas are of almond, lemon curd and spiced pears. The palate starts with a soft entry of stone fruit and eastern spices then builds to a fresh, viscous mouthfeel laced with hints of creamy French oak, quince and meringue. The finish is complex and lingering, with tones of apricot blossom and wheat husks.
A balanced entry of crisp natural acidity and generous red fruit flavours. Tones of creamy French oak, red apple skin and cherry blossoms lend brightness to a finely textured palate of crushed granite and Turkish delight. A moreish finish of savoury white pepper and dried herbs is balanced by yet more red fruit flavours and hints of freshly whipped cream.
